LONDON – Petrofac expects the FPSO for its Cendor Phase 2 development in block PM304 offshore Malaysia to arrive during the first half of 2014. First production is expected soon thereafter.
In Europe, the company’s Offshore Projects & Operations has completed the drydock-related marine system refurbishment and hull life extension works on theFPF1 floating production platform, and the vessel has since been refloated.
Construction and installation of the main topsides processing plant and installation can now proceed.FPF1 will be deployed on the Ithaca Energy-operated Greater Stella Area development in the UK central North Sea, with production due to start in 2Q 2014.
