OSLO, Norway – VNG Norge has consent from Petroleum Exploration Norway to drill two exploration wells in the Norwegian Sea.
The semisubmersibleTransocean Arctic will start work next month on wells 6406/12-3 S and A in production license 586. The program could last 53 days, depending on whether a discovery results.
Water depth at the site is 324 m (1,063 ft).
