LONDONBentley Systems has acquired Ultramarine’s MOSES software business.

The company says this is the leading analysis and simulation software for complex projects involving transportation and installation of offshore structures, including launching of jackets and floatover of topsides.

Its functionality is said to cover the full range of stability, motions, and mooring of single or multiple floating bodies.

In March 2011 Bentley acquired the SACS flagship software for structural design of fixed offshore structures. It plans integration of MOSES and SACS to widen possibilities in particular for analysis and design of FPSO structures.
