UMW to supply jackup for two wells offshore Vietnam

UMW Holdings has won a $24-million contract to supply a jackup drilling rig to Japan Vietnam Petroleum Co.

SALENGOR, Malaysia – UMW Holdings has won a $24-million contract to supply a jackup drilling rig to Japan Vietnam Petroleum Co.

TheNAGA 3 rig is scheduled to drill two wells with an option for two more wells offshore Vietnam.

Mobilization to the site is expected in the first half of 2014 upon completion of a contract for Petronas Carigali.
