HØVIK, Norway –DNV has released its new Synergi Plant software that integrates with Synergi RBI (risk-based inspection) software to form a complete, quantitative risk assessment system.

The Synergi Plant software enables plant and platform owners to improve overall control of asset conditions by optimizing inspection, asset monitoring, and link to their maintenance system, says DNV. With modules for offshore and onshore, DNV says the new Synergi Plant includes semi- or full-quantitative RBI, inspection planning and packaging, inspection and measurement execution, notification of maintenance, and a key performance dashboard.

“Recent accidents demonstrate the need for stricter regulatory requirements and more practical systems regarding risk management of onshore plants and offshore processes,” says DNV Software Managing Director Are Føllesdal Tjønn. “DNV Software’s plant integrity management solution allows operators to take full control of operation assets and identify equipment that needs to be inspected, repaired or replaced.”

“The focus on a risk-based approach and asset integrity workflow management are the key in achieving optimized predictive maintenance for their sites,” says Tommy Tang, DNV Software regional business development manager for Asia Pacific and Middle East.
