A new ATEX-approved ShockLog enables much-needed monitoring in zone 1 and 2 environments, while the company’s new IMC Tracker solution combines GPS location data with shock and vibration monitoring, enabling real-time scrutiny of high-value assets in transit. The company says both systems not only deliver vital information to operators but also act as a visible deterrent against potentially costly mishandling and misuse.
The IMC Group has developed a new real-time asset tracking system that incorporates GPS and GSM / satellite communication to pinpoint the location of incidents where user-set parameters are breached during a journey. The IMC Tracker means the precise extent and geographical location of incidents can be viewed live, informing immediate decisions on any responsive actions that may be required. The unit has an integral power supply that enables at least four months of monitoring time and conforms to the latest IATA regulations regarding battery power.
