ULSTEINVIK, NORWAYULSTEIN has enlisted the ROC yard in China to build two platform supply vessels based on the PX121 design for the ITG Group.

The contract includes an option for two more PSVs.

The ships are 83.4 m (274 ft) long with a beam of 18 m (59 ft), with a load capacity of 4,000 metric tons and a cargo deck of 840 sq m (9,042 sq ft).

The two PSVs, scheduled for delivery in 1H 2015, are planned for the European market, ULSTEIN said. The company did not disclose the contract’s value.
