STAVANGER, Norway –Blueback Reservoir has released Blueback Rock Physics, a new plug-in for the Petrel program.
The new plug-in is an integrated suite of rock physics tools for quantitative interpretation across multiple domains within Petrel, said Blueback.
“With a unique implementation of rock physics this plug-in can perform integrated analysis on wells, seismic and reservoir model properties all inside of Petrel, ensuring full integration,” said Paul Hovdenak, manager for the Blueback Reservoir Software Portfolio. “By utilizing the power of Petrel for visualization and user interaction, the Blueback Rock Physics plug-in enables rock physics workflows, bridging the gap between geology and geophysics.”
