MIDDLESBROUGH, UK – Technip US has awarded Unasys a $4-million contract for Statoil’s Aasta Hansteen spar platform in the Norwegian Sea.
The company will assist the project’s mechanical completion and commissioning phases, performing definition in Houston, followed by execution works in South Korea and offshore Norway.
TheAasta Hansteen gas condensate field is 186 mi (300 km) offshore in 4,265 ft (1,300 m) of water.
