SYDNEY, Australia -- ROC Oil expects shortly to restart oil production from the Blane field in the Norwegian North Sea.

Operations have been impacted by shutdowns earlier this year on the BP-operatedUla platform.

At Enoch, an oil and gas field in the same region, production has been suspended pending reinstatement of a production tree. Remedial activity should start later this year, allowing the field to come back on stream early next year. ROC has a 12% interest.
