NPD launches frontier Barents Sea 2D seismic survey

Dolphin Geophysical’s Artemis Atlantic has started a new 2D seismic survey over the northeastern sector of the Barents Sea for the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.

OSLO, Norway – Dolphin Geophysical’s Artemis Atlantic has started a new 2D seismic survey over the northeastern sector of the Barents Sea for the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.

Acquisition is expected to take around two and a half months to complete. This is a government-approved program, over an area previously closed to petroleum activity.
