    Nexen, Wood Group PSN extend North Sea cooperation

    Nexen Petroleum has contracted Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) to provide operations, maintenance, and technical support services to the Scott and Buzzard platforms in the UK central North Sea.

    ABERDEEN, UK – Nexen Petroleum has contracted Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) to provide operations, maintenance, and technical support services to the Scott and Buzzard platforms in the UK central North Sea.

    The contractor additionally will support Nexen's Golden EagleArea development in the same region, due to come onstream in 2015.

    WGPSN previously delivered hook-up and commissioning services for the Buzzard platform enhancement project, and earlier won the contract for offshore hook-up and commissioning ofGolden Eagle.
