OSLO, Norway – RWE Dea has clearance from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill an exploration well in the Norwegian Sea using the semisubmersible Transocean Winner.
Well 6608/2-1 S will be the first drilled on license PL 330, awarded in 2004 under Norway’s 18th licensing round, and comprises blocks 6608/1 and 6608/2.
RWE Dea operates in partnership with Marathon Oil and Lundin Norway.
