READING, UK – Drilling has started on the latest development phase of the Burullus-operated West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) concession in Egypt’s offshore Nile Delta.
ThePhase 9a project is part of a plan for arresting the production decline in the concession.
It involves drilling nine new wells during 2013 and 2014, with production startup scheduled for next year.
