    2D seismic project anticipates Madagascar offshore bid round

    BGP Challenger is expected to complete acquisition this month of a 2D multi-client seismic acquisition survey offshore Madagascar.

    TANANARIVE, Madagascar – BGP Challenger is expected to complete acquisition this month of a 2D multi-client seismic acquisition survey offshore Madagascar.

    The 13,300-km (8,624-mi) long offset survey is over the Morondava basin, on trend with the giant gas discoveries to the north offshoreMozambique and Tanzania.

    PSTM data is expected to be available in 3Q 2013. OMNIS Madagascar will launch a bidding round later to promote its offshore concessions, based on evaluation of results from the survey.
