Solstad PSVs now under long-term charters

Petrobras has extended its hire of two Solstad Offshore platform supply vessels with new four-year contracts.

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – Petrobras has extended its hire of two Solstad Offshore platform supply vessels with new four-year contracts.

TheNormand Vibran and Normand Trym will now work for the company for an additional 522 months. Combined value of the extension contracts is $87 million.

Elsewhere, Solstad has agreed to charters for three more PSVs for a total price of $30 million.

Normand Arctic is chartered to BG Norge for two firm years starting in late May, with an option for a further year.

Halliburton has charteredNormand Skipper for five months of well stimulation work, extendable by an additional five months. This program is under way.

Normand Corona has started a four-month contract for Shell Norway, extendable by two more months.
