    Second new jackup mobilizes to Aramco work offshore Saudi Arabia

    Asia Offshore Drilling has taken delivery of a second newbuild jackup from Keppel FELS in Singapore.

    BANGKOK, Thailand -- Asia Offshore Drilling has taken delivery of a second newbuild jackup from Keppel FELS in Singapore.

    AOD II will now be mobilized to the Middle East to start a three-year drilling contract by end-June for Saudi Aramco offshore Saudi Arabia. There are options for a one-year extension.

    Potential revenues for the initial three-year term are around $197 million, plus $34 million forupgrades and mobilization.
