Fifty-two companies have applied to pre-qualify for Lebanon’s first oil and gas licensing round, either as operator or non-operator.

BEIRUT, Lebanon – Fifty-two companies have applied to pre-qualify for Lebanon’s first oil and gas licensing round, either as operator or non-operator.

The Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water said successful companies would be invited to participate in the competitive bid process for licensing of petroleum activities, leading to awards of exploration and production licenses.
