STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil’s exploration well on the Lupin prospect in the Norwegian North Sea is a dry hole, according to partner Noreco.

The well was drilled on license PL360.

Noreco says the partners plan further work on the license, focusing on prospectivity in the Upper and Middle Jurassic, which it says has become more attractive following recent discoveries in the area.
