PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria – Cameron Offshore Systems Nigeria has contracted AVEON Offshore for subsea structures at ExxonMobil’s Erha North Phase 2 project.

AVEON will fabricate and load-out of around 1,000 tons of components that will include five manifolds and modules with associated suction piles, christmas tree frame elements, and control system foundations.

Work will be conducted at the company’s 240,000-sq m (2.58-million sq ft) yard in Rumuolumeni near Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and will generate more than 200,000 man-hours of work.

A dedicated 2,000-sq m (21,528-sq ft) high-bay workshop will be added to the yard’s existing infrastructure to support the program. Load-out and sail-away of the manifolds and modules for offshore installation is expected to take place between August and October 2014.
