Offshore staff
PARIS – Technip has contracted Aker Solutions to provide umbilicals and ancillary equipment for Total’s Girassol Resources Initiative (GirRI) Phase 2 development offshore Angola.
Aker will supply two dynamic power and control steel tube umbilicals and one dynamic power cable. These will be manufactured at the company’s plant in Moss, Norway, with project management, design and engineering support from Aker’s Fornebu offices.
GirRI is in block 17, 210 km (130 mi) west of Luanda in 1,300 m (4,265 ft) of water.
