Cal Dive to install subsea pipeline for Pemex in Bay of Campeche

HOUSTON – Pemex has contracted Cal Dive International Inc. (NYSE:DVR) to engineer, procure, install, and commission a 12 km (7.5 mi) long 8-in subsea pipeline and tie-ins involving four platforms in Abkatun-Pol-Chuc field in the Bay of Campeche.

Work on the $63-million award is expected to begin in 3Q 2013 and include the services of three of Cal Dive’s vessels.

Cal Dive has done work in the area before.
