SINGAPORE –Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd has ordered a second Pacific Class 400 jackup drilling rig from Sembcorp Marine subsidiary PPL Shipyard. The $208-million rig is scheduled for delivery in 2Q 2015.
This high-specification rig will be able to operate in 400 ft (122 m) of water and to drill high-pressure/high-temperature wells to depths of 30,000 ft (9,144 m). The rig will be equipped with full hotel services for a complement of 150 persons
