GPSC submits report on gas finds offshore India

Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. (GSPC) has submitted a commerciality analysis of six gas discoveries in the KG-OSN-2001/3 block offshore eastern India.

AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands – Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. (GSPC) has submitted a commerciality analysis of six gas discoveries in the KG-OSN-2001/3 block offshore eastern India.

The finds, in theKrishna Godavari basin, are KG-16 in DDE area, KG-22 in DDN area, KG-21 and KG-31 in DDW-DT area, and KG-19 and KG-20SS in DDNE-BRU area.

India’s Directorate General of Hydrocarbons will review the report, which excludes the Dean Dayal West (DDW) and DDW Extension areas.

GSPC operates the block with an 80% interest, with GeoGlobal Resources and Jubilant Offshore Drilling each hold 10%.
