AALESUND, Norway – Farstad Shipping has taken delivery of two new offshore support vessels.
TheFar Sitella, built by STX OSV Vung Tau in Vietnam, was handed over to Farstad Shipping Pte in Singapore. On arrival in Australia, the vessel will start a long-term program to support Shell Australia’s Prelude drilling campaign.
Far Spica was delivered by STX OSV Langsten to Farstad Supply AS. It will work for Statoil on a long-term charter contract to support a drilling campaign offshore East Africa.
