Statoil orders Oseberg subsea equipment from FMC

Statoil (NYSE:STO) has ordered $152-million in subsea equipment from FMC Technologies Inc. (NYSE:FTI) for the Oseberg Delta 2 Project.

HOUSTON –Statoil (NYSE:STO) has ordered $152-million in subsea equipment from FMC Technologies Inc. (NYSE:FTI) for the Oseberg Delta 2 Project.

FMC will supply five subsea trees, five wellheads, two manifolds, control systems, and other associated equipment. The order is the first option from the fasttrack portfolio awarded as part of theGullfaks South deal earlier this year.

The equipment is scheduled for delivery in 2013-2014 and will be engineered and manufactured at FMC Technologies’ facilities in Norway and Scotland.
