Fugro-Jason releases new version of PowerLog

Offshore staff

HOUSTON – Fugro-Jason has released version 3.4 of its petrophysics and rock physics software PowerLog.

The new version makes petrophysical analyses easier and faster, said the company. Smart batch loaders can rapidly load massive volumes of data – well headers, LAS files, deviation surveys, zones, zone parameters, and well tops – to get the job done in a fraction of the time typically required, it continued to add.

Other improvements include high-quality SDI print solutions to improve output quality, the ability to import interpretations from third parties, and easier capacity to export results for mapping and analysis. New environmental corrections, zone parameters saved from processors, and sophisticated batch wellbore path computation modules round out the changes mentioned.
