ABU DHABI, UAE – Unique Maritime Group (UMG) has acquired 100% of the shares of Unique Wellube FZC, a provider of offshore topside and subsea engineering services in the Middle East and elsewhere.
Services include hot tapping and line stopping, under pressure leak sealing, in-situ machining, pipeline rehabilitation and monitoring, on-line safety valve testing, and on-line valve maintenance.
Unique Wellube FZC will continue to operate from the group’s headquarters in Sharjah and its operational support bases in Qatar and West Africa.
Offshore accommodation specialist HB Rentals has partnered with Mubarak A AlSuwaiket & Sons Oil and Gas Services Co in Saudi Arabia. The aim is to expand HB Rentals’ capability into Saudi Arabia, with a view of working for Saudi Aramco in the near future.
Recently, the company signed an agreement with GASOS in Abu Dhabi, and it is looking for potential agency partnerships in Qatar and Kuwait.
