ABERDEEN, UK – TWMA has secured a waste management contract worth up to $20 million for Zakum Development Co.’s UZ 750 project at Abu Dhabi’s offshore Upper Zakum oil field.

Under the five-year contract, TWMA will design, commission, and operate an advanced solids control and fluid recovery system for the artificial islands project - the first of its type in the United Arab Emirates.

It will also provide specialist drilling services, including handling, transfer, storage and treatment of both oil-based and water-bad drill cuttings.

TWMA is technical partner to ESNAAD, the support services arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.
