OSLO, Norway – Lotos E&P Norge has approval from Petroleum Safety Authority Norway for exploration drilling in the southern Norwegian North Sea.
This relates to drilling of well 7/8-7 on license PL 498, using the jackupMærsk Guardian. Water depth is 82 m (269 ft).
Drilling is expected to last 64 days, depending on discoveries.
