Offshore staff
HOUSTON – GDF SUEZ has contracted KBR (NYSE:KBR) for floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) production vessel design work for the Bonaparte LNG project offshore Darwin, northern Australia.
This award is one of two contracts let by GDF SUEZ as part of an initial concept definition design competition for the vessel.
KBR is also pre-qualified as a candidate for the project’s EPC delivery phase. Concept definition work is under way in the company’s operations center in Leatherhead, southern England, and is due to last up to 12 months.
