Huntington first oil pushed back to 2013

Noreco (BØRS:NOR) says two of five risers are now installed on the FPSO Voyageur Spirit, which has been on location at the Huntington field in the UK central North Sea since early October.

STAVANGER, Norway – Noreco (BØRS:NOR) says two of five risers are now installed on the FPSOVoyageur Spirit, which has been on location at the Huntington field in the UK central North Sea since early October.

The three remaining risers each require three clear days of weather to install. Carry over work from the yard and commissioning is under way.

Operator E.ON Ruhrgas now expects first oil before the end of 1Q 2013, building to 25,000 b/d.

In September, operator DONG E&P shut down production from theOselvar field (Noreco 15%) in the Norwegian North Sea following an incident on the BP-operated host platform Ula.

Ula should re-enter services this weekend, with Oselvar to re-start shortly afterward.
