Offshore staff
HOUSTON– Page Europa has contracted BMT Scientific Marine Services Inc. to provide an integrated marine monitoring system (IMMS).
This will be fitted to BP’s newQuad 204 FPSO that will replace the existing floater on the Schiehallion field west of Shetland.
The IMMS will provide real-time data on local meteorological and oceanographic (MetOcean) conditions, FPSO motions, and tanker proximity monitoring. It will also include a comprehensive structural monitoring system.
The system will comprise a computer console, remote sensor packages, data acquisition software, and client display software.
