Statoil to overhaul Tordis subsea network

Statoil has contracted DOF Subsea Norway to provide services for the Tordis Flex Jumper Replacement Marine Operations project in the North Sea.

BERGEN, Norway -- Statoil has contracted DOF Subsea Norway to provide services for the Tordis Flex Jumper Replacement Marine Operations project in the North Sea.

The workscope comprises removal of flexible flowline ends, installation of seven new flexible flowlines, installation of two new umbilicals, tie-in, testing, and survey work.

Engineering will be handled from DOF Subsea’s office in Bergen, with the offshore program to be performed at the Tordis field late next summer, lasting around two months. DOF Subsea will provide two vessels.
