Dolphin newbuild semisubmersible gets contract

OSLO, Norway –Dolphin Drilling Ltd. has contracted its harsh-environment semisubmersible newbuild rig. The undisclosed client will take the rig for five years at a total of $1.064 billion.
The Moss Maritime CS 60 E design rig is being built by Hyundai Heavy Industries with delivery scheduled for late 1Q 2015.
To be namedBollsta Dolphin, the rig will get a second BOP and additional riser package before delivery.
