Well Control School adds snubbing course

The Well Control School (WCS) has added an IADC WellCAP snubbing course.

HOUSTON – The Well Control School (WCS) has added an IADC WellCAP snubbing course. The competency-based, five‐day course will focus on well control theories and methods regarding well control in snubbing operations.

WCS says the course is designed for experienced, supervisory‐level snubbing personnel and equips them with the latest technology, methodology, and industry standards.

Classes will begin Nov. 12, 2012 at the Houston Training Center. The class will be led by an IADC certified instructor and will feature a state‐of‐the‐art simulator to provide hands‐on training.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an IADC WellCAP Snubbing supervisory level certificate, an API certificate, and 3.7 continuing education units.
