LUXEMBOURG — Pacific Drilling S.A. (NYSE: PACD) has reached an agreement with Samsung Heavy Industries to extend to Dec. 15, an option to construct an eighth ultra-deepwater drillship.
Delivery is scheduled for 1Q 2015.
