BERGEN -- The M/V Polar Duke is about to complete a 3D seismic survey offshore Lebanon.

The Dolphin Geophysical vessel conducted the long offset, high resolution multi-client program in theLevantine basin offshore Lebanon, in cooperation with Spectrum. Equipment included 12 streamers and a dual energy source.

A fasttrack volume, processed onboard, will be available in November, with the final products completed early next year in time for Lebanon’s first licensing round.

Spectrum has designed the survey, in the southwest Exclusive Economic Zone, to provide enhanced imaging of the geological picture allowing prospective bidders to better evaluate prospectivity.
