Atwood Mako on location offshore Thailand for drilling campaign

LONDON– The jackup Atwood Mako has started development drilling from the Bualuang Alpha platform in the Gulf of Thailand.

Salamander Energy (LSE:SMDR) has taken the rig on a long-term contract, starting with the short development program on the B8/38 license. It will then drill two exploration prospects in theGreater Bualuang area ahead of an extended development drilling campaign from the Bualuang Bravo platform from end-October.
