    Aker wins drilling order for Chinese jackup

    Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries has contracted Aker Solutions (Oslo Børs:AKSO) to supply a drilling equipment package for a new 2000E jackup under construction by the Chinese yard.

    OSLO, Norway – Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries has contracted Aker Solutions (Oslo Børs:AKSO) to supply a drilling equipment package for a new 2000E jackup under construction by the Chinese yard.

    Aker Solutions will provide the components of the package from its production units in Kristiansand and Asker, Norway, Houston, and Erkelenz, Germany. Delivery is scheduled for 2013.
