Offshore staff
OSLO, Norway– Brunei Shell Petroleum has chosen Aker Solutions (Oslo Børs:AKSO) to manage its offshore construction and maintenance services.
The five-year contract, with options for a further two years, has an estimated value of more than $400 million.
Aker Solutions will also be responsible for transferring competence to allow local businesses to gradually assume responsibility for the work.
The first offshore campaign is scheduled for 2013.
