ABERDEEN, UK – Oilfield services specialist Reservoir Group plans to expand its Middle East operations.
It has formed a new venture, Wellvention, combining the well intervention services of Saudi Arabia-based Nordic Well Services with those of Wellbore Intervention in the UK, and the Netherlands-headquartered The Tool Co.
Wellvention will invest in new equipment and develop new technologies.
Fraser Louden, managing director of Reservoir Group’s Well Intervention and Well Monitoring division, said: “Establishing a presence in Saudi Arabia through our new club member company…along with providing a quick entry to the Middle East through a centralized hub, will enable us to service countries from the Kingdom, including Kuwait and Qatar, in the longer-term.”
