Prosafe sells Safe Esbjerg

LARNACA, Cyprus -- Prosafe Rigs Pte Ltd has agreed to sell the accommodation jackup Safe Esbjerg to a buyer in South East Asia.

The $55-million sale price is divided into two parts. First payment is due within 60 days of the Aug. 7 closing and the remainder is in a three-year term loan.

The buyer was not named.
