New Zealand permit goes back to the state

WELLINIGTON, New Zealand – New Zealand Oil & Gas has relinquished to the government PEP 38259 offshore New Zealand.

NZOG said the decision to return the Canterbury basin permit came following extensive technical review by the partners.

NZOG holds 40%, Beach Petroleum (NZ) Pty Ltd. has 35%, and AWE New Zealand Pty Ltd the remaining 25%.
