Petrofac to service Beryl operations in North Sea

Offshore staff

ABERDEEN, UK – Apache North Sea has contracted Petrofac to provide onshore/offshore construction services and onshore engineering.

The agreement applies to all of Apache’s UK assets including the Beryl Alpha and Bravo platforms in the northern North Sea and the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) gas processing plant at St. Fergus.

The three-year contract, valued at about $155 million/yr, represents an extension to the current service contract that Petrofac holds for Apache’s Forties platforms.

Under the terms of the new program, Petrofac’s scope will extend to topside brownfield and greenfield activity in addition to interfacing with subsea contractors.
