Jaya gets contracts for two newbuild AHTSVs

SINGAPORE – Jaya Shipbuilding and Engineering Pte Ltd, has secured ship building contracts totaling $84 million to deliver two anchor handling tug and supply vessel, one 5,150 bhp and the other 16,000 bhp.

The 16,000 bhp vessel will be one of the largest ever built by Jaya and is capable of not only AHTSV service, but can tow and position a rig and contribute to ice management by towing icebergs with its Ice Class 1A design.
