West Polaris drillship set for contract extension

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Seadrill (XOSL:SDRL) hopes to clinch a new five-year contract for its drillship West Polaris, in direct continuation of an existing assignment scheduled to finish in October.

Potential revenue for the five-year period is $1.16 billion. Final agreement is expected by July.
