Statoil to buy Peregrino FPSO

Offshore staff

STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil and Sinochem has agreed to buy the Peregrino FPSO from Maersk. The vessel served Statoil’s Peregrino field offshore Brazil since its 2011 start up.

The vessel will remain at Peregrino field, but BW Offshore will operate the FPSO after a transition period of about six months.
