Offshore staff

SINGAPORE – Keppel FELS is close to delivering its second jackup drilling rig this year to Ukrainian company Chernomornaftogaz.  Like the first unit delivered in May, it will work in the Ukrainian sector of the Black Sea.

Both are KFELS B Class rigs, capable of operating in water depths of up to 400 ft (122 m) and to drilling depths of 30,000 ft (9,144 m).

The NEZALEZHNIST (‘Independence’ in Ukrainian) has already undergone a naming ceremony at the Keppel FELS yard.
