Rialto speeds up Gazelle preparations off Côte d’Ivoire

LONDON – Rialto Energy (ASX:RIA) has awarded Petrofac a fasttrack front-end engineering design (FEED) program for the Gazelle development offshore Côte d’Ivoire.

Petrofac’s Engineering & Consulting Services in Woking, UK, will perform the work on the project in block C1-202. Rialto is operator with an 85% interest, the remainder is held by state-owned Petroci.

The contract, due to be completed in October, will involve up to 75 personnel. The FEED will be used to support award by year-end of early engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning contracts for the Gazelle offshore platform and offshore and onshore pipelines.
